While Phase 4 begins in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the destiny of some of them will be known through Disney+. In 2021, Marvel series started to be launch, first WandaVision and right now 'The Falcon and The Winter Soldier' is airing new episodes weekly, but since this production was announced fans were overloaded with joy, not only because we will watch actor Tom Hiddleston reprise his beloved character as Thor's brother Loki, but because this will be the first time the Trickster God will be the main star.

At the end of 2020, we watched the first trailer where we could find out more or less what was going on. If you watched the last movie Avengers: Endgame at some point you can recall maybe, that you asked the same question all of us did. When the Avengers time-travel themselves, Loki stole -again- the Tesseract, and as Tony Stark asked...Where is Loki?

After a long wait, at last, we have the official trailer of the Loki series, and this time he apparently is trying to save the world instead of conquering it but he is not alone, he is paired with Mobius M. Mobius, a Time Keeper, played by Owen Wilson. As Mobius explains in the trailer, Loki broke reality when he stole the Tesseract, and now he’s been captured by the Time Variance Authority (a.k.a TVA) to help them fix it. Let's remember he has stabbed so many people in the back on so many occasions. Can he be trusted this time? “We’ve studied almost every moment of your entire life, you’ve literally stabbed people in the back like 50 times,” Wilson’s character says. To which Loki replies, “Well, I’ll never do it again!”

Tom Hiddleston has played the God of Mischief across the MCU, starting with the first Thor movie and following in Avengers as the main villain. In Avengers: Endgame he was killed by Thanos but the time-travel plot brings him back (and the fans can't handle it) In a previous MTV interview, the actor declared that he has played Loki for ten years that getting his own Disney+ Series “And playing him, and playing him truthfully, but presenting him with new challenges which then I’d have to change him in different ways is the most exciting aspect of it. You’ve got his very specific gifts,” he continued. “His intelligence, his treachery, his mischief, his magic. And then seeing him come up against more formidable opponents, the like of which he has never seen or known … I wish I could tell you what happens, but I can’t.”

Well, we know for sure that bringing Loki back might not end well because he is chaos personified. In the trailer the trickster tells Wilson's character after recruiting him, “It is adorable you think you can manipulate me. I’m 10 steps ahead of you.” and later at some point in the trailer all the fans noticed Loki is next to a red-headed woman who looks like Scarlett Johannson's character 'Black Widow' could it be possible? “Loki” premieres on Disney Plus on June 11 so we will have to wait a little longer

In addition to Hiddleston and Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Richard E. Grant, Wunmi Mosaku, Sasha Lane, and Erika Coleman round out the cast. Directing all episodes of Loki is Kate Herron (Sex Education) while Michael Waldron (Rick and Morty) serves as head writer.
