After much expectation, we finally got to watch the teaser trailer for 'Spencer,' the upcoming biopic drama film directed by Pablo Larrain where Kristen Stewart plays the beloved Princess Diana.

The first photos of the film were released recently causing turmoil on the internet with fans declaring that the similarity between the actress and the late royal was uncanny, and now in the trailer, we can confirm what the pictures transmitted. Added to this, fans are also having high hopes and expecting to hear Kristen Stewart's British accent but it looks like  Neon and Topic Studios, the companies behind the film, know this and we only get to hear less than three words in the teaser clip. (Seriously, that's unfair) “They know everything,” Sally Hawkins, who plays an undisclosed role that appears to be a confidant to the Princess of Wales, tells Diana. She responds: “They don’t.”

Ok then, we do not get to hear much but what we could gather is that the production takes in all the glamour and extravagancies the royal life brings like big meals and over-the-top outfits. The trailer starts with the Princess (born Diana Frances Spencer) arriving at Sandringham for the Christmas weekend where we clearly see her having some anxiety while the dinner is being prepared. This is the weekend when apparently Lady Di decided to divorce Prince Charles. ( BTW, this same event was depicted in the most recent season of Netflix’s The Crown where Diana and Charles were portrayed by Emma Corrin and Josh O’Connor)

Poldark star Jack Farthing is playing Charles and the cast also includes Olga Hellsing as Sarah, Duchess of York; Amy Manson as Anne Boleyn; and Niklas Kohrt as Prince Andrew. “Peaky Blinders” creator Steven Knight wrote the screenplay for “Spencer,” which is scheduled to release in theaters on Nov. 5. Prior to its theatrical debut, the movie will premiere at the Venice Film Festival, which runs from Sept. 1 through Sept. 11.

Other images show Princess Diana strutting down a long hallway dressed to the nines in a silver gown, sitting for a family portrait, paparazzi snapping cameras, and Diana also in moments she relax a little bit while dancing and running across the estate grounds. Prior to Filming, Kristen Stewart revealed that she really was frightened because of the accent but added that she really got to work to do it perfectly “The accent is intimidating as all hell because people know that voice, and it’s so, so distinct and particular,” she told InStyle. She continued, “It’s one of the saddest stories to exist ever, and I don’t want to just play Diana — I want to know her implicitly. I haven’t been this excited about playing a part, by the way, in so long.”
