Netflix is releasing drop by drop of information about Bridgerton Season 2 making all the fans go wild since they can no longer wait for the series to come out. First, it was a brief tease, then the trailer and now, in an interesting turn of events Netflix has released the playlist we will hear in Bridgerton Season 2.

In case you have missed the chance to watch the first Bridgerton season, in it, the plot follows the story of the Bridgerton family, but one important aspect in the series is that music accompanies the protagonists throughout their adventures.

For example, in the first season, we got to heat a rendition of Billie Eilish's 'Bad Guy' but turned into classical tones. Other songs included in the first season were Ariana Grande’s “Thank U, Next,” Shawn Mendes’ “In My Blood,” and Taylor Swift’s “Wildest Dreams.”

Now, Netflix has announced the playlist for Bridgerton Season 2 and fans will be glad to know that Harry Styles, Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, and many more are included.

More specifically, the list includes Nirvana’s 1991 track “Stay Away,” Madonna’s “Material Girl,” and one of Rihanna’s greatest hits “Diamonds,” from her 2012 album Unapologetic. The list continues with Robyn’s “Dancing on My Own” and Alanis Morissette’s “You Oughta Know” from her third studio album Jagged Little Pill. Then, we have a surprising addition in “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham,” by Lata Mangeshkar.

Bridgerton Season 2 playlist will also include 'Signs of Time' by Harry Styles. But, according to the series’ music supervisor Justin Kamps, this was the hardest song to get for the show. “That one was a pretty difficult clearance. That one took the longest to get everyone to sign off on. I think everyone will really love it,” Kamps said,

He then added “When Harry Styles’ team signed off, I was very excited about that because I was just like, ‘This is just a beautiful use.’ So even though it wasn’t a direct, ‘We love this,’ it felt like, ‘Ah, yes, they approved this, they’re giving their approval. They enjoy the sequence.' And now, I can’t wait for all the fans to see it.”

To conclude with the list, P!nk’s “What About Us,” Calvin Harris and Disciples’ "How Deep Is Your Love," and Miley Cyrus' memorable “Wrecking Ball.” are also included.

Kamps also admitted that they wanted to add Doja Cat, Olivia Rodrigo, and Dua Lipa, but this could not be.

“I was a big fan of the Olivia Rodrigo album [Sour] this past year. And there are some songs on there that I would just love to get in there," said Kamps. “I really love the song ‘Happier.’ I thought that was such a beautiful and sad song. I don’t know if the right situation would come up for that, but I think that would be great, or ‘Traitor.’ We did get some Olivia Rodrigo string covers this season, but just didn’t find the right place for them. So, that’s something I would like to include because I just think her songwriting is great and it makes for some beautiful string quartet versions.”
