Oops...she did it again! At this point in life, it does not come as a surprise that Salma Hayek knows how to move. The Mexican actress shared a video on her social media to promote one of her latest films and let' be honest here, surely you are like us and have re-watched more than once.
The 'Frida' actress has been spoiling us with some sultry snaps wearing bikinis but now she changed the approach and can be seen dancing to one of Britney Spears's greatest hits '...Baby One More Time'. In the short clip shared with her more than 18 million followers a short routine alongside her makeup and hair team. This comes as promotion for “Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard,” a sequel to 2017’s “The Hitman’s Bodyguard.” Salma is coming back as Sonia Kincaid, the wife of notorious hitman Darius Kincaid (Samuel L. Jackson), and of course, Ryan Reynolds is back too.
"Show me your #hitmanschallenge baby! Muéstrame tu mejor #hitmanschallenge baby! I'll be watching..." Hayek posts in the caption. Jennifer Aniston and Naomi Campbell praised the dance in the comments, while Sabrina Carpenter responded, "omg queen." “That swing with your leg at the end” wrote a user, as shocked as us by her flexibility.
In fact, Britney's song has been used for the sequel's marketing and even the poster reads "Hit Me Baby One More Time." In the sequel, you will also be watching Frank Grillo, Richard E. Grant, Antonio Banderas, and Morgan Freeman. "Quite frankly, I was shocked," Hayek said of the fans calling to see more of Sonia in the sequel, per Variety. "I've been in many movies where we get the call: 'Oh, my God, you're one of the most liked characters in the film.' So many times. But for the first time, there was a director that said, 'I'm gonna listen to the audience.'"
Salma Hayek has been busy these last months. She will star in one of the upcoming Marvel movies 'Eternals' and more recently, she finished filming 'House of Gucci' alongside Lady Gaga and Adam Driver. Actually, she said just mere days ago that she was struggling because she can't lose the weight she gained while in Italy because apart from working, what else could one be doing while there? Eating Pasta of course! Although she knows that at her age she is doing quite well, she declared that she feels the pressure from the fans and audience. "I don't think I am some hot tamale, but I know that for my age, for the lifestyle that I lived, I'm not doing too badly. And I attribute all of this to meditation." she added "I've lost very little. You go, 'Whoa, whoa, whoa.' You gain it so fast, but it takes so long to lose it," she said.
