A lot has been going on with Nicki Minaj on her social media that we really need to keep up and refresh our browser every five minutes since she is a non-stopping force. The Trinidadian rapper is not being silenced and has been sharing her thoughts about Covid-19, vaccinations, and its side effects, and more recently she responded to a comment made by the prime minister of the U.K Boris Johnson.

First things first, Nicki Minaj did not attend the 2021 MET Gala and amid the event, she started to post some messages on social media to her more than 22 million followers. While there, she declared that she did not attend the MET Gala because of the vaccination requirement "They want you to get vaccinated for the Met," she wrote, clarifying that “If I get vaccinated, it won't (be) for the Met. It'll be once I feel I've done enough research. I'm working on that now. In the meantime my loves, be safe. Wear the mask with 2 strings that grip your head & face. Not that loose one."

At this point, many fans and users were a bit shocked by her comments but still, Nicki Minaj continued to explain her point of view and revealing that while preparing herself for the 2021 MTV VMA she tested positive for COVID, being this the reason why she did not attend that event either. Do u know what it is not to be able to kiss or hold your tiny baby for over a week?" Minaj tweeted. "A baby who is only used to his mama?"

Subsequently, the rapper encouraged the fans to get vaccinated but urged them to think about the side effects because she has a cousin in Trinidad who has a friend and became impotent. “His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding. So just pray on it & make sure you’re comfortable with ur decision, not bullied “

At the end of the day, she posted a poll asking for the best vaccine. Moving forward to the next day, Tweeter was total chaos and the media was sent into a frenzy by the rapper and her declarations. Interestingly enough, The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom chimed in, probably unaware of all the fuss he was creating.

During a press conference, someone asked Boris Johnson about his thoughts on what Nicki Minaj said about the side effects and he humbly accepted that he did not know who she was. “I’m not familiar with the works, or as familiar with the works, of Nicki Minaj as I probably should be,” he said, adding that we all should check on Nikki Kanani, "who will tell you that vaccines are wonderful and everybody should get them."

Nicki Minaj obviously responded to this on her social media where she can be heard using a fake British accent and captioning the post with send this to the prime minister & let him know they lied on me. I forgive him. No one else. Only him.” In the audio, we can hear her saying sarcastically that he was amazing on the news in the morning and that she is actually British, went to school with Margaret Thatcher, and that she is a big, big star in the US.
