Watch out Rege-Jean! Joe Jonas is in town! While all the fans are eager to know what is going to happen in the second season of Bridgerton, Netflix has been teasing us with a lot of previews, trailers, and interviews. However, one thing that no one was really expecting was to see Joe Jonas dresses as a Bridgerton character.
This fabulous sight comes in the form of a Tanqueray Ad where Joe Jonas, alongside Bridgerton star Jonathan Bailey and Phoebe Robinson, are representing the best of the best of the Netflix show.
In the ad, fans can see Joe Jonas trying to become a Bridgerton with the help of Jonathan Bailey, who plays Anthony Bridgerton in the series. In the beginning, we get to see Joe dressed in character but when Bailey offers his help, Jonas accepts it right away. "I know you might be thinking I'm a Jonas, not a Bridgerton," the Jonas Brothers singer says in the clip. "While that might be true, the internet has been kind enough to point out I do look like one, and I feel like I'm getting the hang of it."
Then, Phoebe Robinson makes her entrance channeling Golda Rosheuvel's Queen Charlotte, and sits with Joe Jonas to learn three important steps to become a Bridgerton involving three looks: Looking fancy, Sipping, and dancing.
In the end, Joe Jonas asks Jonathan Bailey if he can be a Bridgerton now. “Maybe like a really distant estranged cousin”. Then, in return, Jonathan asks if he can be a Jonas now. “Not sure about that,” says Joe.
The Tanqueray ad was revealed after Joe Jonas gave a tease of it on his social media platform. However, he did not reveal it was Bridgerton-related.In an interview with People, Joe Jonas talked about his collaboration with Tanqueray, detailing that this is not the first time he and the brand work together.
"I had done a campaign with Tanqueray before for their Sevilla Orange gin, and I had such a blast on set with the team," Jonas tells PEOPLE. "When they presented the Bridgerton idea, I couldn't help but say, 'Yes, of course,' because for years, me and my brothers have gotten tagged in photos of mocked-up images of us in Bridgerton."
Joe also admitted that it was an honor and a compliment that the fans thought they looked like “some of these handsome fellows.”
So, could it be possible that Joe Jonas will appear someday in Bridgerton? He says that there's nothing to say about that just yet." but "feel pretty comfortable in the clothes, so it might have to be a part of my new wardrobe."
