Taylor Swift being the queen of hidden messages has all her fans more than accustomed to looking at all the details and this time, you could say that Jake Gyllenhaal is not being subtle at all. A couple of months ago TayTay released a music video where presumably, was about her previously mentioned ex, now, with a very low-key picture it seems that a premeditated thing to do.
Jake Gyllenhaal gave an interview to W magazine where he talked about his film 'The Guilty' and about his first encounter with Brad Pitt. However, what caught everyone's attention was Jake's photoshoot where honestly he looks more handsome than ever but fans are thinking that Jake Gyllenhaal is responding to the Taylor Swift scandal in a very subtle way.

Wearing a red shirt, one hand on his hair, and the other hugging himself, Jake Gyllenhaal is quite serious looking at the camera with a very piercing look. A very simple and casual picture if you think about it, but what gave it away as a form of an answer to the Taylor Swift scandal is that a pair of heart-shaped sunglasses can be seen in his head.
To make matters better (or worse) the person in charge of the official W magazine social media account captioned 'Red (Jake's Version)' but hours later that caption was deleted and simply described what the actor said in the interview.
If you are not so familiar with the heart-shaped glasses, Taylor Swift wore an identical pair in her music video '22' a song that was included in her album Red, the same album she recently re-released, and where the song 'All Too Well' dedicated to Jake Gyllenhaal is included.
If you go even deeper into that, the lyrics start with “It feels like a perfect night / To dress up like hipsters /And make fun of our exes.” Whether it was intentional or not, fans who noticed the first caption of the picture have gone wild on the comment section.
“Jakes version! I am dying!” said one user, “Whoever wrote that caption deserves a raise,” said another one. “Is he feeling 22???” added another user. Swifties also joined the conversation and even quoted 'All Too Well' lyrics “You used to be a little kid with glasses in a twin-size bed”
When the extended video of 'All Too Well' was released, close sources revealed that Jake Gyllenhaal was not bothered at all by it. Jake has no interest in any of it," a source shared with E! News. "He doesn't read gossip or pay any attention to that ... He's living his life and focused on himself. He's ignoring all of the noise." After this, can we believe him?
