Breaking up with someone is always messy and with singers (and artists in general,) most of the time the fans get incredible songs due to broken hearts. Could this mean that the next Olivia Rodrigo album is going to be terrific?
Well, while we wait for her new music, it seems that the pop singer has been quite busy not only professionally but in her love life as well, and despite we have seen her quite happy with her boyfriend Adam Faze, now terrible news have been reported.
According to People, Olivia Rodrigo and Adam Faze are no longer together. None of their reps have confirmed or denied this but a close inside to the couple admitted that this is not something that happened recently. "They've been over for a bit now," the source claims.
Olivia Rodrigo sparkled breakup rumors when she unfollowed Adam Faze on social media. Although the singer has not revealed anything herself, Page Six reported that Adam was partying in New York, where he recently moved to.
Nevertheless, the rumors about them breaking up come from months ago when they did not spend the Christmas and New Year Eve's festivities together. Coincidentally or not, Olivia Rodrigo talked in November with Vogue and was asked the best way to get over someone. Could this be a hint we did not see?
“Besides cutting off all contact, I think it’s important to not only forgive them but forgive yourself for letting everything happen,” she answered. “That’s what I’ve learned.”
Olivia Rodrigo and Adam Faze first sparked romance rumors when they were spotted holding hands at the 'Space Jam: A New Legacy' premiere in California. Around the same time, they were spotted kissing against an Audi in Los Agenesl.
According to E! Olivia Rodrigo introduced him as her boyfriend. “Olivia was in great spirits celebrating Space Jam 2 last night,” the source said. “They were really cute together and weren't trying to hide their affection at all.” The source said that Faze and Rodrigo were “together the entire night” and were seen “holding hands at one point.”
A separate source, Stuart Brazell said, per E!, that “the two of them together felt comfortable and newish, and it seemed like he also knew a lot of people there. It just felt like comfortable, cuddly, new young love.”
Neither talked about their relationship but in June Olivia admitted that she was “a lot happier.” "I'm just constantly learning and growing at such a rapid rate," she said. "I'm writing songs and I'm really happy. I'm a lot happier than I was when I wrote that record, which is great. I'm a lot more confident, which I think is a good aspect of growing up," she added. "We'll see what the next era brings, but I'm excited to start working on it."
