Actor Armie Hammer is keeping a low profile since his text messages were leaked. But what is all this scandal about? Well, in the messages he wrote quite explicitly his cannibalistic fantasies. Now Hammer is in the spotlight again, a woman named Effie accused Hammer of rape and physical abuse. During a press conference, this woman declared “I thought that he was going to kill me”

Effie, who did not reveal her last name, is 24 years old but she met the actor when she was 20 and had a relationship for four years. “On April 24, 2017, Armie Hammer violently raped me for over four hours in Los Angeles,” Effie said, “During which he repeatedly slapped my head against a wall bruising my face. He also committed other acts of violence against me to which I did not consent.” Hammer's attorney told that all of Hammer's relationships were “completely consensual, discussed and agreed upon in advance, and mutually participatory,”

Effie did not comment about this but, it is believed that this woman is the same one behind the social media account “House of Effie” which first released the text messages related to cannibalism. “He would often test my devotion to him,” Effie said, adding that Hammer became increasingly violent. “He abused me mentally, emotionally, and sexually,” she said adding she “fell in love with him instantly,” but now recognizes “clear manipulation tactics”. The alleged increasing abuse caused her to consider suicide.“I lost interest in living,” she shared. “I just wanted the pain to stop.”

Now, Hammer's lawyer has revealed some conversations that refute Effie's story. “Effie’s own correspondence with Mr. Hammer undermines and refutes her outrageous allegations. As recently as July 18, 2020, [she] sent graphic texts to Mr. Hammer telling him what she wanted him to do to her. Mr. Hammer responded making it clear that he did not want to maintain that type of relationship with her,” “It was never Mr. Hammer’s intention to embarrass or expose [Effie’s] fetishes or kinky sexual desires, but she has now escalated this matter to another level by hiring a civil lawyer to host a public press conference,” the statement continued. “With the truth on his side, Mr. Hammer welcomes the opportunity to set the record straight."

Let's remember this is not the first time Armie Hammer is accused. Apart from the cannibalism claims, his ex, Paige Lorenze claimed he used a knife to carve the letter 'A' into her skin. “He wanted me to show them off and be proud of them,” Lorenze told. “I said, ‘How am I supposed to see other people when I have bruises?’ He said, ‘That’s the point.’ I think it was a part of marking and branding.”
