Justin Bieber is doing something right! The American singer Billie Eilish has been promoting her latest album 'Happier Than Ever' (you really have to listen to it) And while the world is astonished about how talented she is and at such young age, the 'Bad Guy' singer reveals that she has had some struggles when dealing with fame. About this, she shared with the world that she has relied on someone as young and talented as her.
On the day of her album's release, she made an appearance on SiriusXM Hits 1's Morning Mash Up, and there the 19-year-old revealed that Justin Bieber has reached to support her. (She even called him 'The sweetest baby ever') "I love him," she said. "He's a good friend of mine," she shared. "He, you know, has been so helpful for me, in terms of just, like, dealing with fame.” Eilish added that “he'll call me sometimes and just say stuff that makes me just feel heard, and like there's somebody else that goes through the same stuff. So it's really nice to have him."
As sweet as it sounds, Justin Bieber has spoken about Billie Eilish in the past. Last year before the pandemic, he appeared in an interview with Zane Lowe, and there, he revealed that he feels very protective over Billie as she grows up. Let her do her thing and if she ever needs me, I'm gonna be here for her," said Bieber. "But yeah, just protecting the moment because people take for granted encounters." In the same interview, Bieber got a little bit emotional and then added "Yeah, so, yeah, I just want to protect her," he continued. "I don't want her to lose it. I don't want her to go through anything I went through. I don't wish that upon anybody. If she ever needs me I'm just a call away." Let's just remember that Justin was discovered by Scooter Braun when he was only 13, signing to a record label in 2008, and Billie released her first song 'Ocean Eyes' when she was 14 so we can all see why they relate to each other and while Billie Eilish has always declared that she has been a fan of Bieber since young, they met back in 2019 at Coachella, taking a picture together.
Now, with her newest album 'Happier Than Ever' Billie still does not believe in all of her success. (Her debut album has been certified four-times platinum by the RIAA and has won several Grammys for it) "I didn't think I'd be even close to where I am at all," she said. "I didn't think I'd get anything … there were many markers that when I hit them, I was like, this is not, I don't know. … I could never have thought this would have happened in my life."
