She is a singer, actress, and producer, she started her career when she was nine years old and now, despite not being precisely old, Selena Gomez has her goals very clear and has revealed what she truly wants to have for her future.
In a recent interview during a special episode of the TaTaTu video podcast "Giving Back Generation" Selena Gomez admitted that she wants to get married and be a mom, even if that means she has to quit her acting career.

"I hope to be married and to be a mom,” Selena Gomez declared, before admitting that she is probably going to change her lifestyle if she gets tired of being an actress. “Eventually, I’m going to be tired of all of this, so I’m probably just going to devote most of my life to philanthropy before I peace out," Gomez added.
The American actress, who by the way is enjoying the success of her HULU series 'Only Murders In The Building', revealed that she has got some experience when talking about taking care of a child because she is the one to take care of her eight-year-old sister.
"She puts things in perspective," she said. "I have to basically watch this little person grow into a human being. There's no better feeling in the world. I kind of feel like a parent in a way, even though I'm not.”
It is not known if Selena Gomez is currently dating someone or not, but in the interview, she appeared to be more focused on being a parent herself than getting married although she said so. ”It's so rewarding to just see that life was so simple at one point," she added speaking about her sister. "I want to enjoy life the way she enjoys life."
This declaration is not the first time Selena Gomez speaks about having kids, although is a contrast to a previous interview with The Hollywood Reporter where she said that being a parent was not for her. “I would have four kids, for sure,” she said.
“Maybe not planned, maybe planned, maybe both. And there’s nothing wrong with the life I would have led.” Selena said before adding “I just know that that’s not my path, and I’m really grateful I had my mom to give me that opportunity to be what I want to be,” she added.
However, because she is currently busy with her acting career it does not mean that Selena is away from taking care of her sister...or other kids. Recently fellow singer Jessica Simpson revealed that Selena Gomez took her daughter Maxwell to her very first concert. "I was sad when Maxwell got to go to her first concert — Olivia Rodrigo she went to. Selena Gomez was her babysitter,” Simpson said in an Insta Live.
