American actress, activist, author and entreperneur, Gwyneth Paltrow released recently an image on social media showcasing her brand new vibrator, in the likes of a 'meme'. This is not the first time actress Gwyneth Paltrow and sex related terms appear together on titles or news sites, right? If you go back a little, you would remember the previous term used to promote the actress's previous business venture.
Back in 2020, the actress also started selling her scented candle called “This Smells Like My Vagina”, which was quickly sold out. During an interview on Late Night with Seth Meyers the actress explained the truth behind the name “I was with 'The Nose' Douglas Little... and we were kind of messing around. And I smelled this beautiful thing and I was like... this smells like my vagina” the actress said without forgetting to add she “was kidding, obviously.”
Shakespeare in Love's actress started with a weekly newsletter named Goop in 2008, which in time turned into a web-based company focused on wellness, anti-aging and female sexuality. However controversies have not been far awar from either the company or Paltrow. Goop has had legal affairs in the past due to pseudoscientific, deceptive marketing upon sex toys manufactured by the company, and it has received criticism for covering other controversial topics such as psychedelic drugs, energy healing and mediumship.
Now, Gwyneth Paltrow's new take on the bussiness makes us users laugh by such witt, as she promotes Goop's new product designed by herself. Through a post on Instagram, the actress posted a picture of herself at the 71st Annual Academy Awards ceremony back in 1999, where she is holding her brand new award with both hands, but with her vibrator instead of the golden statue. “Beat you to it...” Paltrow added to the post on social media, “I know how to meme too guys.”
Gwyneth Paltrow's new toy has 8 different vibration patterns, a stimulation sphere on one end, and the other for delicate parts of women's anatomy. The product is made out of silicon and latex, which makes it durable enough to be subject to water and wet environments. It also has an ergonomic design with rechargeable batter and has a medium size for easy transportation, if desired.
Despite criticism from different fields, the company's growth or Gwyneth Paltrow's fame never declined and even developed a documentary available on on Netflix, “The Goop Lab”.
