As incredible as it sounds a Diva like her needs to stay healthy and with energy in order to fulfill all her musical duties plus her private life and motherhood.
Probably the most important diet Beyoncé followed was the one she followed after giving birth to her kids, however, she did not do it for the looks but because she needed the energy. The reason? Coachella was near and she was performing.
So, first things first. In order to lose 60 pounds in a record time, Beyoncé followed the “22 Days Nutrition Meal Planner,” a 100% plant-based diet that cuts out bread, sugar, dairy, carbs, meat fish, and alcohol. While the diet helped her achieve to lose weight, in the 2018 documentary “Homecoming” Beyonce admitted she was suffering a bit. “I’m hungry,”
The 22 Days Nutrition program was created by her friend, the trainer, and exercise physiologist Marco Borges. "It’s my first time back home on the stage after giving birth. I’m creating my own homecoming and it’s hard," she said in the doc. "There were days that I thought I’d never be the same, I’d never be the same physically, my strength and endurance would never be the same."
When talking about breakfast, during an interview with Shape Beyoncé revealed that she never skips the most important meal of the day. "I always have breakfast—say, scrambled egg whites, a vegetable smoothie, or whole-grain cereal with low-fat milk,"
Queen Bey does not eat processed foods and throughout the day she drinks more than a gallon of water with lemon. For lunch and dinner, Beyonce said Quino, fish, and vegetables are essential. ”I'm not a naturally thin person. I have to work for it," she told the outlet.
If Bey wants some traits, she decided to eat Pizza on Sundays. "I always treat myself to one meal on Sundays when I can have whatever I want. Usually, it's pizza, which is my favorite indulgence,"
While fans often praise Beyonce for her many endeavors. This diet was not among the fan favorites. "I have ZERO negative things to say about Beyoncé but I want to remind folks that you don't need to be a certain size to be beautiful or to be good at dancing and that Bey has a private chef to ensure she gets the nutrients she needs and you should not try that diet at home," said one fan on social media while another added, “This sounds like an impossible diet.”
