Troian Bellisario and her husband, Patrick J. Adams have a story that could be taken out from a series or film, but we could not decide if it goes in the catalog of horror stories or happy endings. The American actress, who is best known for starring as Spencer Hastings in the television series Pretty Little Liars, appeared on a recent episode of Katie Lowes's podcast 'Katie's Crib' and while there, she and Patrick, revealed that their daughter, who was born in May, was welcomed inside their car on their way to the hospital. It all happened around 1 a.m when Troian started to feel the contractions, but because it was their second child and thanks to her previous experience (which by the way was 26 hours long), she thought the whole process was just starting. She was wrong.
When they were arriving at the parking lot of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Patrick and Troian realized that they were in a dangerous situation. "As soon as I hit the button and grab the ticket, she's screaming," Adams detailed. "... I whip around, and by the time I turn my head around, Troian is already fully on her hands and knees ... and we've gone nuclear."
He then continued explaining that he parked outside the hospital's door and that his head was going "1,000 miles an hour," because when he asked the guard for help, he was already screaming. "I get up to the guy and I say, 'It's all happening, in the car. You need to get the wheelchair down here, we need the people, all the people! All the professionals! It's happening!'" he said.
And like those situations, people think one is exaggerating but this time it was not the case. "As soon as I open it, Troian is doing one of her incredible howls," Adams said adding that the actress started asking him for help to take her pants off. “So she is still on all fours, butt facing the windshield. Her butt's at my head level, so I just go and pull down her pants," Adams recalled, adding, "and the baby's head is right there."
If you thought that's impressive you just wait for it! Patrick realized that there was no time to lose, one more push of his wife and in three minutes everything was done. He recalled from their previous baby that it was necessary that none of the fluids would get into her nose or mouth so he turned the baby upside down. "I just look over my shoulder, because I'm still on all fours ... and I see Patrick holding her upside down, and she's wailing, so I'm like, 'She's alive, she's OK. She's breathing," Bellisario added. What a ride! After their appearance on the podcast, the couple shared a sweet picture where the three of them appear quite happy in the now-famous parking lot.
