Meghan Markle Has The Top Spot Among The Most Searched Wedding Dresses On Google

Meghan Markle's wedding dress is followed by the one worn by her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton when she said 'I Do' to Prince William

From the moment when it was announced that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were engaged, the main thing that sparked curiosity among fans was the style of the dress the actress was going to wear on her big day. Truth be told, the gown became a protagonist, especially the Givenchy dress the duchess wore during the religious ceremony.

It's been three years since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry tied the knot; however, the aforementioned dress keeps taking the first spot among the most popular wedding dresses worn by celebrities. According to Google, as of today, her wedding dress is currently ranked as the first in the list of most searched wedding dresses on Google.

A recent report by Google, which displays the analysis of search trends related to weddings, has the Givenchy dress that was exclusively designed for the duchess of Sussex by Clare Waight Keller in the top spot. For those who may not remember the gown, it was a very elegant A-line dress cut, which exuded elegance and sofistication.

In case you missed it, the aforementioned dress had a boatneck, and long sleeves. It also had a veil with embroidered flowers, which represented each of the 53 nations that are parf ot the Commonwealth. Meghan Markle went on to complement her looks with the famous tiara Bandeau which was a loan from Queen Elizabeth.

Which other wedding dresses are on the Google Search list?

The second spot was taken by no other than the dress Kate Middleton wore when she married Prince William. The gown was designed by Sarah Burton, for Alexander McQueen, and it was inspired by the Victorian era; she went on to add a 9 feet veil, and wore a beautiful tiara Halo, which was a Cartier design for Queen Elizabeth.

The third spot on the list is occupied by the one Gwen Stefani wore at her wedding with Blake Shelton, which occurred a few months ago. The garment had a heart shaped cleavage, and its skirt was made of several layers of tulle.

Meanwhile, the dress that holds the fourth spot is the one Ariana Grande wore to marry Dalton Gomez, earlier this year. Both dresses, Gwen's and Ariana's were designed exclusively by powerhouse Vera Wang. However, The “7 Rings” singer's dress was inspired by Audrey Hepburn, and was complemented by a short veil that had a silk bow attached.

The fifth spot is a very special one, and no one could have ignored the highly popular dress of a highly beloved person as Princess Diana. The iconic dress she wore when she married Prince Charles, was designed by David and Elizabeth Emanuel; the ivory taffeta gown was intricately embroidered with sequins, frilled lace, and 10,000 pearls. The gown went on to have an estimated value of $115,000. Undoubtedly, a stunning display of style and gandiosity.
