Megan Thee Stallion admits she can make some men feel uncomfortable and even offend them and guess what? She is a hundred percent sure that that's her job. (If you look at it that way we could not agree more.)

The American singer spoke in a recent interview with Evening Standard revealing that she will not be silenced, not anymore. " I’m starting to see how much more ignorant men are than I thought,” she says. “When you’re a woman who’s not a threat, men don’t really bother you,” Megan reveals that she now acknowledges that the perception of men has changed as she grows more successful. Then as you grow into your own and as you become somebody who doesn’t need a man or somebody who is so independent… men like that damsel in distress type of role and that’s not me.”

Megan Thee Stallion then added that most men feel awkward and even threatened by women like her who speak her truth in their lyrics. “I feel like that’s what kind of gets under a lot of men’s skin. Like, ‘How dare she talk about her vagina? She loves herself and she doesn’t need me and she’s going to take my money.’ I just feel like I make a lot of them uncomfortable and I feel like that’s my job.”

Noting that she’s not a “normal woman” or even a “normal person” the rapper is sorry but not sorry and pleads you to look the other way. “If my un-normalness offends you, well, I’m obviously doing something right and, baby, look the other way.”

However, she notes that “You can’t stop looking the other way, because you like what you see and you hate that you like what you see,” she continued. “That’s why you hate it, that’s why you go through all these emotions and you’re lashing out on me. So I’m not even mad at these men. They’re emotionally ignorant. Once they come to grips with who they are, maybe they’ll grow up.”

This is not the first time that Megan Thee Stallion addresses this issue. Last year when she released WAP alongside Cardi B she declared that the sex-positive song “freaks men the hell out” because it reminds them that they don’t own sex.

More recently, Megan released a remix of the BTS hit 'Butter' but her label 1501 Certified Entertainment tried to block it. She won the lawsuit and it was a total success. About it, she reiterated that she will not be silenced.

"I’m always going to fight for myself, I’m always going to stand up for myself," Megan told Evening Standard. "I feel like how dare anybody try to silence me? My label was just like, ‘Oh, we don’t like the song, so you’re not putting it out,’ and I’m like, ‘Since when has anybody ever been able to do that in the history of ever? That doesn’t even make any sense.’ I want to do a song with BTS, I’m a fan. How are y’all just going to randomly crush my dreams ... So I did everything I could do to get it out and now that it’s out we all feel such a relief and we feel so happy."
