We dare you to name a more iconic group of talented ladies because there isn't. Kristen Stewart, Kirsten Dunst, Tessa Thompson, Jessica Chastain, Jennifer Hudson, and Emilia Jones reunited to talk about their films and projects, and honestly, it is one of the most epic gatherings you probably will see.

All these actresses are quite different and yet, they have a lot in common. Apart from being incredibly talented, all of them are possible candidates for the Academy Awards thanks to their latest film.

Kristen Stewart is portraying a tormented Princess Diana in 'Spencer', Kirsten Dunst plays Rose in 'Power of The Dog', Tessa Thompson is Irene "Reenie" Redfield in 'Passing', Emilia Jones is Ruby Rossi in 'Coda'. Jennifer Hudson is portraying a young Aretha Franklin in 'Respect' and Jessica Chastain is Tamy Faye in “The Eyes of Tammy Faye.”

Now, thanks to The Hollywood Reporter, these stars reunited to talk about their acting career and how their paths lead them to this exact moment in their life.

First, they talked about their characters. Jennifer Hudson admitted that some things happened in her life that might sound like a coincidence but it really was destiny working. For example, she recalls how her American Idol audition song was “Share Your Love With Me” by Aretha Franklin, and then years later, they actually met. “Her having that faith in me gave me the courage to be able to get through it.”

Kristen Stewart about Princess Diana, admits that while there are certain similarities between Lady Di and her, they could not be more different. For example, when they were young paparazzi and the tabloids were always chasing them, but differently from Princess Diana, Kristen admits that she is not running away. “I’m not running from anything; I’m running toward everything. This person wasn’t even allowed to be a person.”

Kirsten Dunst admits that despite she knew director Jane Campion before 'Power of The Dog' they are working together for the first time until now. “She wrote me in my early 20s about working together. I saved the letter because, you know, it’s Jane Campion — I was like, “Oh, my God.”

Tessa Thompson declared that she was not familiar with the book 'Passing' written by Nella Larsen, but when she read it she immediately wanted to work on it because it left her speechless after reading it. “I was so haunted by it. Then I opened my laptop and read what Rebecca Hall wrote, and it was such a beautiful, dedicated adaptation of this thing that feels unadaptable. I didn’t know how you could communicate that onscreen, but Rebecca did.”

Despite her singing in 'Coda, Emilia Jones had never had a singing lesson before. However, the hardest thing for her was to learn sign language and the script at the same time. “You have to learn everyone else’s lines in sign language and spoken because otherwise, you don’t know when to come in. So collectively, it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but also the most rewarding.”

For her part, Jessica Chastain admits that she always remembered Tammy Faye as someone vulgar, a criminal, and a bad person. However, when learning that she was the first one to talk openly about AIDS on the media, her thoughts changed completely. “She was a woman who believed in unconditional love and forgiveness, and I think I needed that medicine at that time.”
