That, ladies and gentlemen, is the spirit. Kristen Stewart has been promoting her film 'Spencer' in several cities around the world, different galas and events, and everywhere she and the director Pablo Larrain go they only receive compliments.

In fact, the comments about her acting and portrayal of Diana, Princess of Wales have created such expectations that it has been highly rumored that the most possible outcome is that she will be nominated for Spencer. Whether it is an Oscar, Bafta, or any other Award you can think of, it sounds like a very interesting and exciting result for such hard work.

However, Kristen Stewart is keeping loyal to herself, and in a recent appearance on the Variety’s Awards Circuit podcast, the 'Twilight' star admitted that to put it simply, she does not care at all about the buzz surrounding the movie. “I don’t give a s – – t,” she said about the awards.

“The Oscars are such a funny thing. There are so many incredible movies and performances that barely get seen. It definitely says something about where we’re at as a cumulative presence, what we’re looking at, what we care about,” Stewart revealed.

While we won't know until early February if Stewart has landed her first Oscar nomination, we bet it would not be a surprise after all because the topic has been an ongoing conversation since 'Spencer' was released.

Nevertheless, she appreciates that her work has created such a connection with those who have seen the film and is grateful too because the public has kept it in their memories “I really appreciate that something that I was involved in has ignited such a large conversation,” she added. “We don’t make movies to not connect with each other.”

Whether she liked it or not, it appears that those who were close to Princess Diana chimed in into the discussion. For example, we have Princess Diana's bodyguard Ken Wharfe who served as Princess Diana’s personal protection officer from 1989 to 1993, called Stewart in an interview with People magazine the best on-screen Princess Diana in a decade.

“Out of all the people who have played Diana over the past 10 years, she’s the closest to her,” Wharfe said of Stewart. “She managed to perfect her mannerisms.”

Wharfe also explained how hard it was for Lady Di to be present during the Christmas holidays and stay strong for her boys.“It was purgatory for her,” he continued, adding that she often “confined herself to spending time in the kitchen with the chef or with people like me, in the hope that time would while away, and she could get back to London.”
