Sisterly love rocks! And the Kardashian-Jenner clan is the living proof of this. You may recall that every single one of the Kardashians has her own business. Kim, Khloe, Kylie, Kendall, Kourtney, and even Rob have their business around and while we know that they tend to monopolize and only use what their sisters create this time, Kim Kardashian was the one to give a little push to her younger sister Kendall Jenner.
So Kim Kardashian has more than 235 million followers on Insta, a great feat if you ask since she already is in the top ten of people with more followers. So, what better way to boos something than herself posing next to said product? Kim posted five photographs wearing a tiny green knit bikini and an 818 Tequila delivery truck hat to match the outfit. Kim was also holding a bottle of Tequila 818. She also held a can of Cacti, a hard seltzer brand launched by Travis Scott, who shares daughter Stormi with Kim's sister Kylie Jenner.
In the first snap, we can see Kim Kardashian standing with what looks like a forest behind her, in the second third, and fourth snap we can see her relaxing on the grass while the last pic is a close-up of her bikini. “Supportive sister 818” the mogul captioned. Following with the support, Scott Disick commented 'Hot Mama' while Paris Hilton dropped some fire emojis.
Kim Kardashian and the rest of the family could be supporting Kendall Jenner, but when the Tequila was launched in May it received a lot of backlash because people claimed that it was a cultural appropriation case. For example, in the ad of Tequila 818, we can see Kendall wearing a hat, riding a horse. It all started from there. One Twitter user wrote, “No miss Kendall, we do not ride in horses all the time, no we do not wear our hair in braids all the time, no workers do not get to drink the tequila (also that’s not the way you drink it) + workers do not work with that kind of clothes and finally, your advertisement is so whitewashed/California vibes. Jalisco is not California, so don’t try to make it that way.”
Anyway, it looks like Kendall Jenner was not fazed at all and launched a party full of stars like Hailey Baldwin, Kate Hudson, and Katy Perry. In fact, Kim also posted about it. "Always proud of my sissy @kendalljenner for creating 818," the Keeping Up with the Kardashians alum captioned a post of her sipping on the drink alongside sisters Kendall, Kylie, and Khloé Kardashian.
