Kate Winslet Reveals She Could Not Stop Crying After Reuniting With Leonardo DiCaprio
The pandemic made people not see each other for a long time and Kate Winslet admits that after three years she finally reunited once again with Leo, which made her cry a lot

Years have passed since both starred in Titanic and yet, Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio prove once again that they are friendship goals despite decades have passed since they first met, and even after a long time of not seeing each other.
The options as to why they did not see each other are vast. From their professional duties, doing the projects, to the COVID pandemic, lockdowns and even being in another country. Keeping all of this in mind is no wonder that now Kate Winslet revealed that she could not stop crying when reuniting with her long-time friend Leonardo DiCaprio.
Three years had to pass for them to reunite again, and when it happened, Kate Winslet that she felt more than happy to see DiCaprio again.

In an interview with The Guardian, Kate Winslet said that the reason why she did not reunite with Leonardo DiCaprio before was due to the COVID pandemic. "I've known him for half my life! It's not as if I've found myself in New York or he's been in London and there's been a chance to have dinner or grab a coffee and a catch up," she said. "We haven't been able to leave our countries. Like so many friendships globally, we've missed each other because of COVID."
Kate got candid in the interview and admitted that, despite they are not in a relationship and never had, they will be always tied to each other. "He's my friend, my really close friend," said Winslet. "We're bonded for life."
Titanic was released back in 1997, and when talking with Kate Winslet it is an inevitable thing that when Leo arises in the conversation, the movie is mentioned because elsewhere in the interview, she recalled her experience while filming the James Cameron project.
"I turned 21 on that shoot, and Leo turned 22," she said, "It wasn't pleasant for any of us, but we were all in it together. Though he had way more days off than I ever bloody did. I guess I was raised to be grateful and just get on with it. I didn't feel it was my right to be miserable, and if I was miserable I certainly would not have let a journalist know. There is no way I would have let that slip!"
Leonardo has always been praised for his talent and his charm, however, it is quite interesting that Kate Winslet, who knows him personally. The actress gushed about his friend calling him, loyal, handsome, and a great friend.
"He's a solid, loyal person," she said. "He's a great friend, he always has been, and not just to me, but to everyone around him. He still has friends he had when we made Titanic. In many ways, he hasn't changed a bit, but in other ways, he absolutely has changed."
"He's a stronger actor in this moment than he's ever been," she said. "I think he's more handsome than he's ever been. And he feels, to me, the most settled he's ever felt, in himself, right now, which is quite strange, really, given that there's a lot happening around him."
