I guess all things come to an end. And that is the best way to put why the final episode of 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' finally aired. Of course, this symbolizes a series of endings of all sorts. First of all, it definitely closes a chapter for pop culture, but also it's the closure for the Kim Kardashian storyline about her marriage to Kanye West.
For some time, Kanye has kept a very discreet role in the show, but now he certainly wanted to contribute to this ending, by showing his own moves. It's unclear if this is due to him becoming “official” with another woman, or if the rapper had some kind of feud with the reality tv star airing their marital issues on TV. Or perhaps it was just his way of put an end to this chapter in his own way. However, what he ultimately did to cope with this ending of endings, was unfollowing his ex wife and all her sisters on Twitter.
Several Twitter users went on to mock the rapper, and the whole situation, by writing some stuff like “This man did not like the Keeping Up with the Kardashians finale,” or “Kanye unfollowed all the Kardashians on twitter lol... album is gonna be a masterpiece.” To be fair, though, Kanye still follows Kim Kardashian on Instagram, and is actually the only account he follows on that social media platform. Undoubtedly, it would have been harsh to unfollow her, especially since Kim and Khloé Kardashian wished him a happy birthday, amidst rumors about the rapper dating Irina Shayk now.
This is not the first time Kanye has showed any sign of harshness on social media. There was a very uncomfortable episode in the past, in which he called Kris Jenner “Kris Jong Un,” and fans roasted Kanye for trying to play nice after he dubbed his mother in law in this way. However, this time his way of ending things has come in a much more subtle way, by quietly abandoning the Kardashians' social media arena.
Nonetheless, Kanye is Kanye, and 'controversy' being his last name is far away from the spotlight. Especially after being spotted with Irina Shayk earlier this month, having an amazing time in Paris. An insider came out and say that “Kanye and Irina have known each other for years through the fashion industry. They were connected through their mutual friend group and Ricardo Tisci. Kanye and Irina connected recently when they were both in New York City. They met up one night and had chemistry and hit it off.”
Tisci, not only a famed designer for Givenchy and then Burberry, is also a close friend of Kim Kardashian; he even went on to designe Kim's wedding dress for when she married Kanye. About the couple, the source also mentioned that “it's very casual, and they have only been in touch for about a month. Kanye has expressed he doesn't want anything serious but likes Irina's vibe.”
