They both starred in Spiderman, are a couple, and look really cute together. Does this mean that they are taking their relationship to the next step and are now trying to make a life together? This does not sound like a blatant lie but let's not exaggerate either.
A couple of weeks ago several sources claimed that it was a secret well known by everyone that Tom Holland was not only living together with Zendaya but also that they jointly bought a house in the U.K. While this might not be a total surprise since the couple looks happier than ever every time they step outside, however, this does not mean that the rumors are true.
According to a report by Mirror, Tom and Zendaya “bought” the house in South West London, which is 4 miles away from the British actor's hometown. Supposedly, the home included 6 bedrooms and was located near the homes of other stars like Angelina Jolie, Sir Mick Jagger, and Tom Hardy. According to the outlet, the house was worth $4.1 million. And included a gym and a movie theater,
If you were a fan of this idea, behold because you are going to have a deception. In a recent special appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan, Tom Holland revealed that the rumor about buying a house with Zendaya was a lie and that he learned the rumor from his friends.
“I’ve had so many people call me up because apparently, I bought a new house in South London? Which is completely false!” Holland exclaimed while talking to Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest. “I didn’t buy a new house. I’m like, ‘Wow, what a surprise, I wonder when I’ll get the keys.'”
In case you are still wondering, Holland already owns a three-bedroom flat in the British capital, while Zendaya has a $4 million home in Los Angeles.
While Zendaya and Tom Holland did not buy a house together (yet), bot are closer than ever. More recently, Tom and Zendaya were spotted enjoying a New York Rangers hockey game at Madison wearing matching jerseys with each other's name in the back.
And despite both being super famous, they have tried really hard to maintain certain normalcy between them. "One of the downsides of our fame is that privacy isn't really in our control anymore," Tom told GQ in 2021. "And a moment that you think is between two people that love each other very much is now a moment that is shared with the entire world."
He continued, "I've always been really adamant to keep my private life private. Because I share so much of my life with the world anyway. We sort of felt robbed of our privacy. I don't think it's about not being ready. It's just that we didn't want to."
