Can we take a moment to appreciate how iconic these legends look? Seriously, Elton John and Lil Nas X are like a pair made in heaven! Both stars have teamed up to do a collaboration with Uber Eats (like the one Mark Hamill and Patrick Stewart did some months ago) and honestly, we just can't get enough.
First of all, just to put your mindset on the correct path. Let's keep in mind that Lil Nas X and Elton John have swapped looks and we just can't decide if we prefer them with their own outfit or with the one swapped because both ways they look phenomenal.
Do you remember that Pink cowboy Versace outfit Lil Nas X wore at the 2020 Grammy Awards? Well now Elton is wearing it (not his most scandalous outfits, to be honest, but he looks amazing nevertheless) On the other hand, Lil Nas X is wearing a version of the feathered and sequin ensemble John famously wore to perform "Crocodile Rock" on The Muppet Show back in 1977.
“You look amazing," says Elton John to Lil Nas X in one of the videos. "No, you look amazing," Lil Nas X replies. In another of the videos, we can see both stars debating whether fries can be accompanied by mayonnaise or not, and in the last one, we see Lil Nas X not understanding British slang while riding coin-operated kiddie rides. Uber Eats also posted a short clip where Elton John was surprised when looking for the first time the rapper wearing his outfits and simply says 'B-tch stole my look.'
"It's been absolutely wonderful partnering with Lil Nas X, one of the most influential voices in pop culture, and with Uber Eats, my faithful favorite for everything delicious," John said in a statement. "From taking selfies to deciding to swap looks on set, working together has been a blast." "I'm so excited and honored to be working with the legendary Elton John on this Uber Eats campaign," Lil Nas X added. "We had so much fun on set deciding what's for dinner and trying on each other's most iconic looks. I can't wait for everyone to see it!"
Lucky us, this is not the first collab they make and we hope it's not the last one. They also recently collaborated on a new song that will appear on John's new album, The Lockdown Sessions, and Lil Nas X's new album, Montero. John announced the release of his album earlier this month. It's set for release on Oct. 22 and will feature musical collaborations with other artists too, like Miley Cyrus and Stevie Nicks. On the other hand, Lil Nax X also revealed that his album Montero is almost here.
