Elon Musk's Daughter Files To Change Her Name – Doesn't Want To 'Be Related' To Her Father
Even though Elon Musk hasn't addressed this issue, his daughter made it very clear she doesn't want anything to do with her father

We all know Elon Musk has eight well known children, but one of them has recently come up and said that she doesn't want anything to do with him. In order to “not be related to him” anymore, his daughter recently filed legal documents to drop his famous last name.
It seems that she, in fact, is doing more than just changing her last name. She decided to wipe out entirely her own identity and declare her gender identity with this legal move. The legal documents were filed in Los Angeles County by Xavier Musk... which was the name she was given at birth.
However, now that she has turned 18 in April, Musk's daughter has revealed that she wants her name to be Vivian Jenna Wilson.

In the aforementioned documents, she also states that she wants to be recognized as female. However, the name change is not just about her transitioning. It doesn't take too much effort to see that a clear rift exists between her and her father.
According to the docs, Vivian Jenna has decided to change her name based on the following reasons: “Gender Identity and the fact that I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form.”
So far, neither Elon Musk or Vivian Jenna has previously said anything publicly about their relationship, if it is actually broken or what are the terms under what they've been co-living. Or if they even are. So far there has been no further explanation of the rift between Musk's daughter and her father, the Tesla and SpaceX chief who is attempting a $44 billion takeover of social media platform Twitter.
However, interestingly enough, back in December 2020, Elon Musk tweeted supports the transgender community, but added... “All these pronouns are an esthetic nightmare.” There was also another tweet the businessman posted on July 24, 2020, which simply read “Pronouns suck.”
Vivian Jenna Wilson has a twin brother, Griffin, and the last name Wilson comes from their mother, Canadian author Justine Wilson. Justine was married to Elon from 2000 to 2008. The twins were born after an attempt from the couple to have a child, but their first child [son Nevada Alexander Musk] died of sudden infant death syndrome at the age of 10 weeks.

Following the birth of the twins, Elon Musk and Justine Wilson reembarked on an IVF journey and welcomed triplet sons Kai, Saxon and Damian, in January 2006. The trio are now 16 years old. A few years later, Elon Musk revealed to be dating Canadian musician Grimes, with whom he had another child, son “X AE A-XII.”
According to legal procedures, Vivian's hearing on the name change is set for Friday.
