We all know who Daniel Radcliffe is right? Even if you have not watched the Harry Potter films you certainly must realize that he is now part of the pop culture as the little kid turned into the Chosen one to defeat you-know-who. And even if you do not know this, at least you must have watched him in another of his films or series. We have for example 'Jungle' 'Kill Your Darlings' 'Escape From Pretoria,' 'Swiss Army Man' or more recently, dancing in 'Miracle Workers' season three. Well, it looks like the actor just acknowledged that he is not young anymore.
Actually, he is since he is just 32 but in a recent video, he acknowledged that he may be outdated when talking about celebs and general pop culture. In a recent interview with WIRED, Daniel Radcliffe was invited to answer the Web's Most Searched Questions about him, and honestly, his answers did not disappoint.
Daniel answered many, many questions about his life and his work, but the one we are referring to here is a question that popped up about a certain beloved game. 'Does Daniel Radcliffe play Minecraft?' the question reads and the actors answered “Minecraft and Olivia Rodrigo have been two of the real like, 'Oh, I'm old moments of recently'” the actor began.
“Minecraft, obviously, a few years ago. I was playing with my godson or attempting to play, and he was like, explaining it to me, and I was saying all the old person things of just like, I don't get it, how is it a game? When do we, when does it finish? It seems very cool, just can't do it.”
And about Olivia Rodrigo? Well, it seems like Daniel did not hear about her until she visited the White House some months ago “And then yeah, Olivia Rodrigo was the same thing when she was like, at the White House. And I was like, 'Oh, you're famous enough to be at the White House, and this is the first time I'm hearing about you' but I completely accept that is on me, not anyone else. But yeah, they've been real watershed moments recently.'
Olivia Rodrigo visited the White House back in July and while there she met President Joe Biden and the country's top COVID-19 adviser, Dr. Anthony Fauci, to record videos urging young people to get vaccinated against the coronavirus.
Among other things, Daniel Radcliffe also revealed that his favorite Harry Potter movie was the fifth one because he got to work with Gary Oldman more. 'I actually love the fifth one, which is not one that most people cite as one of their favorites, but I got to work with Gary Oldman a bunch in it, and I was sort of a little bit older at that point, so, I was kind of able to appreciate that more.' Now, can somebody please record Daniel singing 'good 4 u'?
