Happy Birthday, Chris Evans! The Captain America actor is celebrating his 40th birthday and what a better way to give him a shout-out than his former co-stars trolling him around the internet.
When looking at how the actors who are part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we can sense that most of them treat each other as a second family. After all, they have spent several years together filming different movies of the franchise. And of course, that is just the case with Cris Evans, who not only looks like a fine person but apparently, all the other actors have in high esteem.
Being Captain America has its benefits of course but, as his character who is more than a century old, the American actor was in what we can call the first and oldest bunch of Marvel actors alongside Robert Downey Jr. Chris Hemsworth, and Scarlett Johansson.
Anyway, this time around to celebrate the milestone occasion, two other Chris's congratulated him in such a unique way. Chris Hemsworth, who plays the Mighty Thor posted a photo on his social media where his almost 50 million followers had a laugh with him. “Happy 40th birthday Chris Evans, you’ll always be number 1 in my book @chrisevans” captioned Hemsworth. The funny twist? In the picture appears Chris Pratt and not Evans. The photo shared appears to be a behind-the-scenes shot from the forthcoming Thor: Love And Thunder film, in which both Hemsworth and Pratt, are set to reprise their Marvel roles.
However, blessed the fans that played into the joke. "Chris Evans looks different?" one fan wrote as another replied, "Man. Chris has changed over the years.” However, the gold here was a fan who threw another Chris into the feud. "Come on…. That's obviously Chris Pine," one fan said as another added, "that's not Chris Evans ☝ it's Chris Pine.
Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Chris Pratt, and Chris Pine are all part of super-hero movies, however, Pine is from DCU since he appeared in WonderWoman and the others are part of the MCU as Thor, Capt. America and Starlord, respectively. Actually, through the years the other Marvel actors have joked about it in several interviews since all of them have been asked about which one is their favorite Chris (By the way, Chris Evans is the one who many preferred) And believe it or not, this is not the first time that such confusion happens. An awkward situation happened last year when Arnold Schwarzenegger, who is the father-in-law of Chris Pratt, called him Evans. "Hello Chris Evans," he said at the time. "Not Chris Evans, sorry. I've screwed up this whole thing right from the beginning. Chris Pratt."
