A few weeks have passed since Britney Spears revealed she's expecting a baby with her boyfriend Sam Asghari. And even though the entire world received the news in the most happily shocking way, Britney decided also to share some thoughts and fears about welcoming another baby.
The 40-year-old singer decided to take to Instagram and shared a black-and-white still image from the music video 'Someday [I Will Understand], which shows her cradling her baby bump. And then, looking back on her first pregnancy with Sean Preston, she wrote in the caption:
“My first child Preston !!! Oh time ... what a beautiful mystery !!! I still have this gown in my closet 16 years later !!! I still have this gown in my closet 16 years later !!! Geez I'm getting old !!! NOOO I'm not ready to shop in old lady stores. The movie 'This is 40' is literally the best movie EVER !!!”
After joking about this, Britney Spears' comment took a more serious turn. She continued saying: “This was a time in my life when if someone was to even mention me being locked in a home... being seen naked every day when I changed like some sort of criminal... my guards would literally put the devil or God himself to the ground in literally a split of two seconds!”
The “Oops... I Did It Again” singer decided to be super honest with her followers, and confessed she is nervous about welcoming another baby – especially since she has had mutliple documentaries made about her life.
“Yes, I'm scared to have a baby in this world, especially in America where they did four documentaries without me in them and telling my story! Yet... THAT helped end the conservatorship! Hmm... Oh well... I don't think I've ever seen that many documentaries on someone unless they are dead! I mean was that even allowed???? Again OH WELL.”
After pouring her thoughts, Britney made an effort to look on the bright side of things, the 'Lucky' singer noted that it is ultimately all about “perspective,” adding... “Today my perspective is self care with some tea... to try @katehudson's new INBLOOM line... and put the same gown on I wore with my first child 16 years ago !!! HAPPY EASTER!!!”
Even though Britney decided to edit the caption, and left the picture on her Instagram, this is not the first time she has spoken out about the documentaries. She previously expressed how embarrassed she was about the New York Times 'Framing Britney Spears' documentary for bringing back up some tough moments from her life. And it looks like her opinions on the docs have not changed too much since then.
