By now we all know how terrifying it must be to be followed around by paparazzi, let's just take as an example what Britney Spears had to endure. But now the one that has had to deal with a frightful situation is the American actress Blake Lively, who spoke candidly about what she lived some days ago when she was out with her kids, James, Inez, and Betty.
A tabloid shared some pictures of Blake Lively with her three kids and the actress called them off on the same post, who by the way is now deleted. "You edit together these images together to look like I'm happily waving. But that is deceitful," Lively wrote. "The real story is: My children were being stalked by a man all day. Jumping out. And then hiding."
Blake Lively, who shares her three kids with Ryan Reynolds, then detailed that a stranger on the street got into words with the paps because it was upsetting her to see what was happening. In fact, Blake only wanted to leave the kids out of the photographs in order to keep their privacy and decided to approach him but with no luck. “When I tried to calmly approach the photographer you hired to take these pictures in order to speak to him, he would run away. And jump out again at the next block. Do you do background checks on the photographers you pay to stalk children? Where is your morality here? I would like to know. Or do you simply not care about the safety of children?”
The actress then explained that there are some photographers that speak to her and both parties agree that she smiles at them and poses, but nobody takes photographs of the kids.” The photographers who would speak to me, I was able to agree to smile and wave and let them take my picture away from my children if they would leave my kids alone. Because it was frightening.”
In the end, Lively asked them to delete the pictures and to stop doing this “Tell the whole story...At a minimum, listen to your followers. They too understand this is dark and upsetting that you pay people to stalk children. Please stop paying grown-ass men to hide and hunt children. There are plenty of pictures you could’ve published without the kids. Please delete. C’mon. Get with the times.”
The whole post was saved by Comments by Celebs and Blake Lively also commented there, thanking them for sharing the whole story and explaining that one simple thing fans can do is to stop following this kind of publication “Feel free to report them. Or send a dm sharing why you don’t follow them. But it’s a simple way of only aligning with publications who have morality.”
