During an interview on the Ellen DeGeneres Show where Aniston was the one hosting and Selena was the special guest, the young actress recalled how was the first time she ever saw Aniston when she was not as famous as she is now.
According to Selena Gomez, the first time meeting was in a bathroom. “Nobody knew who I was and you were in the bathroom wearing a black dress, and I think we were at a Vanity Fair something event, and I was there with my mom and I walked into the bathroom,” said Gomez.
She continued detailing that it was a complete shock seeing Aniston there. “I saw you and you were just so nice, you just walked out and were going back and my heart stopped and I freaked out. I ran to my mom and I was like 'Oh my God I just saw Jennifer Aniston”
In fact, during this interview Jennifer Aniston let the fans see a glimpse of what they have been up to together, making everyone realize that they are friendship goals. “Selena You've always been so sweet. We've met, we've known each other for years. You've been to my house, we've had pizza,” Aniston said. (Selena, Jen, and Pizza? Sign us in!)
Nevertheless, the first time fans got to know that Jennifer Aniston and Selena Gomez were friends is back in 2015 when at a Golden Globes after-party they were inseparable. Later that Night, Aniston revealed how come they met each other.
"We have the same manager," Aniston told E! She's just like a little cherub that I feel like I wanna take care of. And we've just met through our manager. She's been extremely supportive and wonderful."
