Many things have been said during the Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard defamation trial. Both actors have been claiming that they were abused by the other while they were married and have shown proof trying to defend their case, however, it appears that the social media world has sided completely with Depp and against Heard, after the actor revealed the alleged atrocities she made to him.
While both have talked in court, they are approaching it in different ways. While Depp was a bit composed and addressed the jury giving details and being a bit cheeky, Amber Heard has gone on a campaign of crying every time she allegedly remembers something or focuses on vain details like the one where her dog stepped in a bee.
As apocalyptic as it sounds, the end is near and we might find out soon who wins and who loses, but one of Johnny Depp's closest friends has talked addressing the situation and calling Amber Heard a sociopathic show pony.
Gina Deuters has spoken with Page Six and while there she talked about what she saw happening during Amber Heard and Johnny Depp's marriage. Deuters is the wife of Stephen Deuters, Johnny's assistant.
You might recognize Gina Deuters because she was testifying in court before she was removed as a witness because she admitted to watching videos of the trial. Anyway, Deuters admits that she found out about what Amber Heard was up to, or at least was suspicious since day one.
“There was one thing Amber said at the wedding. She kind of leaned into me and said, ‘Do you and Stephen ever fight?’ I responded, ‘We sometimes have an argument,’ and she was like, ’No, Gina, like really fight?’ And it was kind of unnerving. [I thought], ‘Do you enjoy it?’” recalled Deuters.
According to Deuters, she thinks Amber Heard thrives on violence because somehow it means passion to her. “I think there is a part of Amber that [believes] fighting is passion. It means there are sparks, and fireworks [in the relationship]. [Amber] is someone who is always used to getting what she wants. She is quite entitled and I think she made big demands in their divorce.”
When asked about calling Amber Heard a sociopathic show pony, she admits that the one to give her the nickname was her husband and does not regret it at all. “My husband called her a sociopathic show pony, and he certainly doesn’t regret it,” she explained. “Stephen, at the end, was quite literally the mediator … no one else wanted to deal with Amber, and Stephen would be the only person she could talk to.”
Deuters, who witnessed Depp and Heard's relationship from the beginning, details that at first she was really sweet baking cookies and taking his shoes off, but things quickly changed.
When they married, Gina remembers that Amber Heard and her father were excited about the marriage but not because of the bliss of love. “It was the Amber Heard party as opposed to their wedding. I remember her father doing a speech and he kind of motioned around the area [of the island], saying something like, ‘Look, honey, all this is yours now,’” she recalled. “My heart sank a little bit … were they more excited about all the wealth they married into or was this about love?”
In the end, Gina Deuters is sure that Depp has not hit any woman in his life. “I can sleep at night knowing I am supporting my friend. I absolutely feel he has been a victim of domestic abuse and he deserves justice.”
