Just when everybody thought to have figured out Adele's love life, apparently the singer has been spotted going out with another man. The “Rolling in the Deep” performer went on to attend Saturday night's NBA Final, but she was not alone; she enjoyed the company of Rich Paul, who is none other than LeBron James' agent. The couple was seen laughing and chatting together at the game.
It was Brian Windhorst, from ESPN, who ultimately broke the news at the Zach Lowe's podcast titled The Lowe Post; he was not shy when he mentioned that “Rich Paul, [LeBron's] agent, brings his girlfriend to the game sitting next to LeBron. His girlfriend is Adele.” Definitely surprising news to all the people who all this time thought Adele was seeing somene else.
“Rich Paul is at the game with Adele. LeBron is watching the game with Adele. This is the first time that they've come out in public together, so this will be all over the tablois, especially in England tomorrow,” that's what the sportswriter eventually mentioned at the podcast, leaving everyone listening aghast.
In fact, another source for Page Six went on to confirm the news “100 percent”, saying that “they are [definitely] dating.” Turns out, this is probably not the first time one could have grasped the link between the singer and the agent, as Rich may have teased their relationship way back in May whe he was profiled for the New Yorker. Actually, Windhorst, who has written multiple books about LeBron, was also quoted in the piece.
At the time, he went on to tell Isaac Chotiner and a friend, that a “major pop star” had been “hanging out” at his place the day before. (When asked why the two were hanging out, Rich replied “Why not?”) Nonetheless, the 39-year-old clarified to Chotiner: “I'm not dating, I'm single. Put that in the story.”
In the past months, Adele has been at the center of the spotlight due to the fact that she has notoriously lost some weight. Tabloids have massively cover any outing and appearance the singer has made, talking about her weigh and all the amazing look she currently has. On the other hand, social media has made some efforts to cancel the slim culture, primarily to make people embrace their bodies as they are, and not try to change it in order to fit certain society's beauty standards.
Rich Paul, as a founder of Klutch Sports Group and aside long-time friend LeBron James, he has been able to represent a number of prominent NBA players, including Anthony Davis, Eric Bledsoe, John Wall, Ben Simmons, Draymond Green, Jusuf Nurkić, and most recently, Trae Young and Tyrese Maxey. Adele, on the other hand, has seen her latest album's production and release delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic; however, despite these difficult times she was able to make an appearance after four years of isolation from media, hosting the 24 October 2020 episode of Saturday Night Live.
