Natalia Cordova-Buckley


Natalia Cordova-Buckley starred in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D as Elena Rodriguez, a.k.a. Yo-Yo. Her character was an Inhuman who had super speed after being exposed to Terrigenesis. Cordova-Buckley has appeared in several projects like the Oscar-winning film Coco and the 2018 film, Destroyer. Apart from the Netflix series, Natalia also appeared in three episodes of Coyote and in two episodes of Bates Motel. We certainly have to keep an eye on her because we are sure she will be doing more amazing projects.

Joaquin Cosio

Joaquin Cosio is a beloved Mexican actor that has appeared in several films, and probably, if you are not from Mexico, you are noticing him just now. However, Joaquin has appeared in several movies making all Mexican people proud. You may recognize Cosio for appearing as a villain in the James Bond film Quantum of Solace or in the Disney film The Lone Ranger. In fact, Joaquin Cosio has a long and successful career under his name since he has also performed as a voice actor in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse asThe Scorpion. His latest movie was The Suicide Squad as Major Mateo Suarez.

Gael Garcia Bernal


If you really need to read who Gael Garcia Bernal is, we are sorry to say that you are really lost and are in serious need to watch more movies. Gael has appeared in acclaimed films like  Bad Education, The Motorcycle Diaries, Amores Perros, Y Tu mamá también, Babel, Coco, and more recently, in the film Old directed by M. Night Shyalaman. Garcia Bernal has also been nominated for a BAFTA for Best Actor in a Leading Role for The Motorcycle Diaries and back in 2016, he won his first Golden Globe Award for Mozart in The Jungle. He is set to star in the upcoming Netflix animated series Maya and the Three so we will have to wait for it.

Diego Luna started his career on famous Mexican 'telenovelas' (soap operas) but then he jumped into films and since then he has starred in acclaimed films like Y Tu mamá también, Open Range, Milk, Rudo y Cursi, Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights, The Terminal, Berlin, I Love You and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. More recently, he played drug trafficker Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo in the first two seasons of Narcos: Mexico. Now, in case seriously do not recognize him let us tell you that he is Gael Garcia Bernal's BFF since they were young and THAT is seriously something that you must know.

Diego Boneta


Mexican actor and singer Diego Boneta has appeared in 5 episodes of Pretty Little Liars, in Jane The Virgin, Terminator: Dark Fate, and more recently in Monster Hunter alongside Milla Jovovich. However, we can say that his most famous role is the one that he is currently doing as the famous singer Luis Miguel in the Netflix series which tells the story of the acclaimed star. Diego is set to star in the upcoming movie Father of The Bride alongside Andy Garcia and Gloria Estefan.

Demián Bichir

Demian Bichir has had steady steps in Hollywood and for that, he must be considered as a Mexican icon. Demian has appeared in several films and we bet that you have seen him more than once since he has appeared in Godzilla vs Kong, The Nun, The Hateful Eight, Machete Kills, and A Better Life, for which he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor.

Stephanie Sigman

Stephanie Sigman was a Bond Girl in Spectre, and just for that, she is already a winner. However, she is not only a pretty face but also a very talented actress. She was nominated in the  Dublin Film Critics' Circle Award for Best Breakthrough for the Mexican thriller Miss Bala. More recently, she appeared in Annabelle: Creation and in the first and second season of S.W.A.T. As a side note, you can also watch her in the Arctic Monkeys music video for "Snap Out of It.”

Salma Hayek

Move out the way! Here comes the queen, the one and only Salma Hayek. It is said that the Mexican actress had her breakthrough role in the 2002 biographical film Frida, however, we must not forget that she also appeared in films like Desperado alongside Antonio Banderas, and in that unforgettable dance in From Dusk Till Dawn directed by Robert Rodriguez and written by Tarantino. His latest movie was Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard and we will get to see her in the upcoming Marvel movie Eternals, and in the 'House of Gucci' film alongside Lady Gaga.

Eiza Gonzalez

Now, if we have a queen in Salma, we obviously have a Mexican princess too! Interestingly enough, Eiza Gonzalez portrayed the same character as Salma Hayek in the  American horror series From Dusk till Dawn: The Series (also directed by Robert Rodriguez.) However, her success did not stop there and she has become a total Mexican icon. The actress has also appeared in films like Baby Driver, Alita: Battle Angel, The Fast and the Furious spin-off film Hobbs & Shaw, in the acclaimed I Care A Lot, and more recently in Godzilla vs. Kong. The young actress has also become a fashion icon and more recently we saw her at the MET Gala looking all glamourous. Bravo!
